Yes, our Smokehouse has won over 113 awards. Yes, we are known for "the best Bacon". Yes, our Smoking and Curing Masterclass is loved by everyone that attends. And now we are hosting a lunch on Sunday 4th August that will give you a chance to taste it all. Start the afternoon listening to our Smokehouse Manager and expert, Alex Petryk, speak about starting the Smokehouse, the fire that changed it all and what he has learned over his career as "the man behind the bacon". Sitting at long tables, you can taste platters of the Smokehouse fish, chicken and duck as Alex explains how the team creates the layered and intense flavours. Enjoy a three course meal designed by the Pialligo Estate Executive Chef, Darren Perryman, featuring the Smokehouse award-winning meats and ask as many questions as you want to Alex and the team. Choose to include a beverage package with your ticket and have a relaxing, long, Sunday lunch. …… The Essentials Smoked and Cured Meats Tasting and Lunch Event Date | Sunday 4th August Time | Midday to 3pm Ticket ONE - Adults ticket without beverages | $90 includes a 3 course meal, full tasting and your chance to listen and talk to our Smokehouse Manager Alex about all things smoking and curing. Ticket ONE holders can purchase any drinks of their choice from the bar in the room. Ticket TWO - Adults ticket with beverages | $120 includes everything from Ticket ONE plus 3 hour beverage package of beer, sparkling white wine, white wine, red wine and soft drink. Ticket THREE - Children's ticket (aged 2 to 12 years old) | $30 including a 2 course meal. Children will also be given a tasting portion which we are sure the adults at the table will help them eat if needed. Children's beverages such as soft drink can be purchased from the bar in the room. Location | The Pialligo Estate Glasshouse.
