 | About The Host Pierre Pommarède is the European Wine Buyer and Billecart-Salmon Ambassador for one of the major fine wine importers and distributors in Australia, Domaine Wine Shippers (DWS). He joined DWS 8 years ago after working in the wine industry in Hong-Kong and Montréal for several years. Pierre grew up in Versailles, France, with his family originating from the Bordeaux region. Domaine Wine Shippers was established in 1977 by Gary & Yvonne Steel and is known as a leading importer of some of the greatest Domaines of Burgundy, Rhone and is the exclusive distributor of Champagne Billecart-Salmon in Australia. Today, DWS markets more than 30 Australian wineries and 40 Domaines from Europe. |
