If you are craving a taste of Italy or just love the food, then the Emporium Hotel has something you don't want to miss.

In association with Paradox Wines the hotel will host 'The Italian Job', a night of authentic Italian cuisine, convivial tables, wine and stories, alongside a few travelling tips.

Guests will enjoy four courses crafted by Signature Restaurant's Head Chef Luca Spagnolo who was born in Lecce (Puglia) and has a wealth of experience with Italian cooking.

The dishes have been matched with wines from Veneto, Tuscany and Piedmont, thus "you can close your eyes and be transported to Italy”.

About The Host
Jean-Jacques Peyre
Born in Toulouse and educated in Bordeaux, France, JJ was introduced to the heady world of grapes, decanters and vintages at a very young age; his grandfather was a wine judge. JJ graduated in Marketing and Wine Marketing from the University of Bordeaux and to this day is still furthering his wine knowledge.

In fact he is what one could refer to as; a Professional Alcoholic.

“The wine industry is about lifestyle and I take pride is showing and engaging with consumers on how to get the maximum from every bottle of wine by simplifying wine appreciation and, moreover, giving them a better understanding about the marriage of wine and food,” JJ says.

“As people develop an interest in wine, so it follows that they want to learn about the best ways to enjoy it”.
