This black tie charity event will be hosted at the Orange Emus Rugby Club and will be an evening filled with laughs and legends, as well as Orange's finest food, wine and dancing.
Let's use the biggest event to hit the Central West to keep the conversation around mental health going! Country rugby clubs are the lifeblood of country towns, bringing together players, families and supporters through a sense of shared passion and pride for the local team. So we thought, what better place to tackle the prevalence of mental-ill health than the heart of the community? This year, OBTS will partner with Gotcha4Life to raise awareness of the importance of identifying a close friend in your life, someone you can speak openly and honestly to when times are tough. We aim to champion the idea of mental fitness, building the social and emotional muscle and the resilience required to deal better with the challenges that life throws at us. In addition to this years OBTS Ball, Gotha4Life will be running a mental health workshop at Emus Rugby Club on either Tuesday 6th June or Thursday 8th June. Please add this to your ticket if you would like to attend. So dust off your tux and dancing shoes, muster your mates and let's scrum together again for a good cause! #obts2023 |
