Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron supported by Manly Harbour Village Chamber of Commerce are delighted to bring to you the 2023 International Women's Day Breakfast. This year our theme is EmbraceEquity. Equity isn't just a nice-to-have, it's a must-have. It's something we need to think about, know, and embrace. Equity means creating a fair and equal world. And we can all play a part.
We can actively support and embrace equity within our own sphere of influence. Remember, forging gender equity isn't limited to women solely fighting the good fight. Allies are incredibly important for the social, economic, cultural, and political advancement of women. When we embrace equity, we embrace diversity, and we embrace inclusion. Equality is the goal, and equity is the means to get there. Through equity, we can reach equality. Don't just say it. Do it. Value it. Truly embrace it. Together we can work collectively to impact positive change. Together we can all help forge an equal world.
