Come and join in the fun conversation at our Book Club! The book we are discussing is The Dictionary of Lost Words by Pip Williams.

Hosted By Janelle Pandit from the Burwood DUSA Bookshop who loves books almost more than her children and has hosted book clubs for over 15 years across two continents, and Andrew Lowe, President of the Deakin Writers Club who is in his final year of a Bachelor of Arts / Masters of Teaching (Secondary) majoring in Literature and Drama. Andrew has been “writing short stories since primary school and honing my craft, and believe I could have the success of my literary hero Stephen King if I could actually just sit down and write something!” The Dictionary of Lost Words by Pip Williams is a multi-award-winning novel by Australian Author Pip Williams. The novel has delved into the archives of the Oxford English Dictionary and found a tale of missing words and the lives of women lived between the lines. Please note this event will be COVID safe. Location: DUSA Building H, in The Mezz, lounge seating area. |
