We’re very excited to be hosting Flavours of Opera Kitchen, a two-day foodie celebration by the harbour on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 June, showcasing the best of Sydney’s diverse flavours.
In partnership with DNSW’s Sydney Solstice program, Aperol and local artisans including Gelato Messina, the food festival will feature 10+ food and drink stalls highlighting our Italian and pan-Asian offerings. There’s going to be fun for the whole family with roving entertainment, magicians, DJs, photobooths, balloon twisters for the kids and the chance to get your portrait drawn Japanese manga-style in front of the Harbour Bridge. Walk around the venue and explore the pop up food stalls serving Italian favourites like charcuterie cured meats by Pino's Dolce Vita Fine Foods, pickled antipasti by Delizie Dal Cielo and fresh buffalo mozzarella by Vanella cheese on bruschetta. Sweet tooths won't be able to go past the Gelato Messina cart and Japanese-flavoured cheesecakes by Baked By Mish. Plus our Japanese-inspired stalls will be offering pork katsu and egg nori sandwiches and an array of authentic Japanese seasonings by The Good Grub Hub to mix up poke bowls. A wine expert from Alpha Box & Dice will be hosting experiences like Italian wine varietal masterclasses plus there’ll be plenty of Aperol Spritz, Peroni and Asahi beers and non-alcoholic cocktails on offer to compliment the cuisines. Tickets are $30 and include entry and 4 food selections. |
