Farewell 2020 and party into the New Year with Opera Bar's world-famous NYE celebration. Our ultimate harbour-side party has been a sell-out event for 18 years running, and our NYE 2020 Under The Stars party is set to be better than ever.
With direct views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge fireworks display from our exclusive viewing platform, there truly isn’t a better location in Sydney to experience NYE. Kicking off from 6pm, an assembly of some of Sydney’s premier musicians will grace the stage with non-stop entertainment. Throw some roving performers into the mix and you’ve got a party that will make 2020 seem like a distant memory. Lose yourself in the moment Under The Stars, with Sydney’s dazzling harbour and midnight fireworks providing the perfect backdrop to ringing in the New Year. You won’t be going hungry either, there will be a range of delicious dishes on offer from 6:00pm until the event concludes. Tickets are $450 per person and include priority entry to the Sydney Opera House precinct, unparalleled views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge fireworks display, live entertainment and all food throughout the evening. This is a seated event for over 18s only. Doors open 6:00pm on 31/12/20 and the event concludes at 1:30am on 1/1/21 Opera Bar practices the Responsible Service of Alcohol. Please note: You must have your Opera Bar NYE ticket and Service NSW permit with you to enter the Sydney CBD precinct on New Year’s Eve. To get a permit, you must apply via the Service NSW website and have a venue booking inside the zone. Apply for the permit here. There will be major road closures in Sydney on New Year's Eve.
