Brisbane’s first festival dedicated to all things ice cream is coming and it’s going to melt hearts!
Whether you’re a lover of vanilla, you can’t get enough of chocolate, or salted caramel gets your attention every time, get ready to (banana) split and make your way to West End on Saturday 11 March for a festival that can’t be topped, but will definitely involve plenty of toppings. Presented by up and coming foodie precinct West Village, the Brisbane Ice Cream Festival will be taking over the historic Peters Ice Cream Factory at 97 Boundary Street for a day out dedicated to all things sweet, creamy and frozen. With pop-up stalls from some of Brisbane’s coolest dessert masters, the lick-worthy festival will feature ice cream, gelato, popsicles and everything in between – are you screaming in excitement yet? It’s not just about the ice cream of course – there’ll also be music and a pop-up bar featuring boozy frozen treats. But really, when are you going to get a better excuse to eat your weight in gelato? |
