The Time Out Pub Awards pay tribute to the best in the business. It’s one night to celebrate the dedicated publicans and bartenders who keep our glasses filled with great beer, our appetites satisfied with excellent pub food, and who provide a warm and inviting atmosphere for Melbourne's diverse communities.
As usual, guests are in for a treat. Your host for the evening is the always-hilarious comedian and pub aficionado Bev Killick, with calypso band Mighty Duke & The Lords providing the tunes. Partygoers will also enjoy food by Beer DeLuxe, beers by Yenda, cocktails by Bacardi, Pressman's ciders and Gentleman's Collection wines. Guest should also keep an eye out for electronic darts by iDarts, some Fotobox fun and live art by Work-shop! We'll even throw in some Hydrodol to keep you feeling fresh the following morning! In addition to naming our 2016 winners (and all the awesomeness above), the ceremony also marks the official launch of the 2016 Time Out Melbourne Pub Guide – the annual guidebook to 100 of the best pubs throughout Melbourne. Last year, The Last Jar was named Melbourne's overall Pub of the Year. Other awards given included Publican of the Year, Best Beer List, Best Pub Food, and the coveted People's Choice Award.
