The Royal Botanic Garden’s Tomato Festival Sydney is back again this February! Celebrate in the Garden on Sunday, February 21 at the D’VineRipe Longest Tomato Lunch. Pick up a lunch hamper for two, inspired by the not-so-humble tomato and be a part of the longest tomato lunch ever. Guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy a special bottle of Tyrrell’s Wines 200th Birthday wine.
Each lunch hamper includes lunch for 2 people: Gazpacho Cherry tomato & bocconcini salad, aged balsamic vinaigrette 65 degree salmon fillet, Moroccan spiced chickpea, tomato salad Aged cheddar, crispy water crackers, tomato relish Tomato focaccia & butter Summer fruit salad Caramel tiramisu pots *Vegetarian options are available. Lunch hampers are for two people $84 (+bf) and Tyrrell’s Wines 200th Birthday wine for an additional $35 (+bf) per bottle. Drinks can also be purchased on the day and include: Santa Vittoria Still and Sparkling mineral water (750ml) $8.00 per bottle Heineken $9.00 James Boags Premium $8.50 James Boags Light $7.50 Little Creatures Bright Ale $9.00 Soft Drinks and Orange Juice $5.00 Tyrrell’s Wines 200th Birthday wine – Shiraz, Chardonnay, Sparkling Wine - $35/bottle D’VineRipe Longest Tomato Lunch When: 12.30pm – 2:30pm on Sunday, February 21 Where: Flower Bed Lawn, located adjacent to the Tomato Festival Village within the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney NB: The lunch hamper and drinks will be available for collection from 12 noon. After collecting your hamper and drinks please join us at the long table. There is no allocated seating. Bookings close Wednesday 17 February unless sold out beforehand. All purchases are final, in the event the D’VineRipe Longest Tomato Lunch is cancelled hampers will still be available for collection on Sunday 21 February at the Flower Bed Lawn, next to the Festival Village, the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney. The D’VineRipe Longest Tomato Lunch is a fully licensed event. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase through the Relish Bar located within the festival. |
